1. So far, Meagan and Ian's Mom has died having a baby, and they are also going through a drought. Now they have to go find their uncle in Lundbreck Falls. On the way, Charlie their dog runs away into a building. Ian and Meagan follow him, and find themselves with the natives Mike Spotted Eagle, Dick Yellow Calf, Wally Running Rabbit, and Tim Fast Rider. Then they eat a meal, and afterwards, they find out that they ate Charlie!
2.Meagan-Meagan is about 12 years old. She has one brother, Ian. Her mom died giving birth to a baby, who also died. She lives on a farm.
Ian-Ian is about 8 years old. He has one sister, Meagan. His mom died giving birth to a baby, who also died. He lives on a farm.

In the book Meagan and Ian's mom dies while giving birth to a baby boy.
Meagan and Ian is living through a drought without their parents so Meagan decides to go find their uncle their mom told them about in Lundbreck falls.
While going to Lundbreck their dog Charlie runs away.Meagan and Ian goes after Charlie but they find their selves with 4 natives Mike Spotted Eagle, Dick Yellow Calf, Wally Running Rabbit, and Tim Fast rider.
They serve them with food and water but soon Ian finds out that they had eaten their dog Charlie!
Meagan is Ian's older sister and after mom's death she keeps thinking that she has to protect Ian instead of her mom.Meagan lives on a farm with Ian but is now going to Lundbreck.
Ian is Meagans little brother. Ian had never went to school unlike Meagan. Ian sometimes get annoyed or mad at his sister acting like his mom.
Ian really wanted a baby brother which he got but didn't survive.
Ian lives on the farm with Meagan but leaves it as he and his sister is going to Lundbreck.

So far in the book Megan and Ian lost their mother when she was giving birth to their baby brother, they lost him to.
There is also a big drought and all the people are gone, and there is little to none water. Wich is why they decide they are going to leave home and head for lumbrick falls, were there uncle lives.
But on the way charlie their dog and Ian's best friend, runs away so they chase after him but are grabbed by native boys. once they meet the native boys they stayed the night, it was a huge house and it had an in-door bathroom, with running water. There is a huge meal and they eat so much.
The native boys talk alot about Napi the creator, they also talk alot about the the bufflo and their history.
Unfortunitly at the end Ian and Megan find out that the native boys killed charlie and that was the meet they had been eating, Ian was devastated and in tears.

Megan: she is about 12 and is Ian's big sister. She has taken on a very important role because both of her parents are gone.
Ian: he is about 7 and is Megan's little brother. He is a very curious little boy.
The setting.
The story takes place in Lethbrige, Alberta, Canada.

And afterword Ian goes looking for chalie then he soon finds out that they ate chalie

The setting is in Alberta.
They met the Natives at the Buffalo Jump. And they are going through Porcupine Hills and heading towards the Rockies..
Going to Lunbreck falls.

So far, the setting has been on the dry prairies. It is dried because there was a drought. They have to travel away from their home, and off towards Lundbreck Falls. They are going over the porcupine hills, headed towards the rockie mountains.
