Friday Group,
Your assignment this week is to provide a detailed summary of what has happened so far in the book (Chapter 1-6). Include any important events that have taken place. Now make a detailed prediction of what will be happening next in the book.

There has been a drought and Ian and Meagan have to leave their house. They are heading for Lundbreck Falls, where their uncle lives. On the way, they meet some natives. They teach them about the 'Head Smashed in Buffolo Jump'. Then, when they eat there last meal, they find out that they made them eat Charlie(their dog). So they continue on their way. They find a house where they can rest in, but in the morning, they find out that the owner of the house doesn't like people in his lawn. So they go on their way again. The next place that they see has water, is in somebody elses yard. She goes to get water, but then the people come out of their house and shoot her. They hit her in the arm. Then, Ian has to take care of his big sister. She starts to hallucinate, so he takes her to a house nearby. Luckily, these are nice people, and they care for Meagan and Ian, and they take the bullet out of Meagans arm.

My prediction is that these people that they see will help Ian and Meagan on their journey. I think that they will give them food and water for the rest of their journey, and then they will continue to find their uncle.
Safiya. So far we have read chapters 5-7 of the Crystal Drop. There is a drought. Megan and Ian have no family left and are all alone and running out of water. They decide to leave and make their way to Lundbreck Falls where their Uncle Greg lives. Supposedly, there is a huge waterfall in Lundbreck falls, and they are hoping to have a great life. On their way to the falls they meet native boys, crazy men with killer dogs, and people with guns. They try to get water but people won't share. Megan gets caught trying to fill canteens while on someone else's land. She becomes scared, dropping one of the three canteens. The people who own the land have a gun and shoot Megan in the arm. It is very painful. She is in so much pain that she eventually drops the canteens and just falls to the ground and sleeps. Ian leaves her there with a canteen by her head. He keeps walking until he finally sees a farm house. It looks pleasant. It is night, so Ian waits by the fence until morning. People named Mitch and Sadie help Ian and Megan.
Prediction
I think Mitch and Sadie will be very kind, and will allow Megan and Ian to stay with them and drink their water.

So far in chapters 1-6 there has been a drought...
So Ian and Meagan leave home to go to Lundreck Falls.
On their way they meet 4 natives and learn about the buffalo jump.
After they have their last meal they find out that they ate their dog, Charlie.
After leaving the buffalo jump they find a creek with water. They stay there overnight and fill their canteens. But the owner of the land wasn't to happy about them using their water so they started to run.
After most of their water was gone they found another place with water.But as soon as she filled all the canteens the owner of the water came out and shooted bullets at Meagan..
Meagan got shot on the arm and it starts to bleed very badly.
Meagan starts getting a bit crazy and Ian has to take care of her.
Ian finds a house nearby with people and water..
Luckilly these people actually helped Meagan and Ian and heal Meagan's injury.
I predict that Mitch and Sadie would help them to go to Lunbreck falls by giving them food and water for the way.I think with Mitch and Sadie's help they would be able to go quite a distance and continue to find their uncle.
