Chapter 10:
After Meagan, Ian and Uncle Greg embraced eachother for the longest time, they finally let go of eachother. Uncle Greg showed Ian and Meagan around his house. They then had a great supper, and went to some comfortable beds.
"Meagan?" a sleepy voice asked from the other side of the bed.
"Yes Ian?" replyed Meagan.
"I'm glad we came here, and I know that Uncle Greg loves us a lot, but can we go visit Mitch and Sadie some time, I really miss'em.
"I know, I miss them to. Tell you what, how'bout after we getta know Uncle Greg a little more, we'll ask him if he can take us to go and visit Mitch and Sadie."
"Okay..." But Ians voice was drowned by his snoring.
The next morning, Ian, Meagan and Uncle Greg played some games, and they learned a lot about eachother.
After Meagan thought she knew him enough that she could trust him, she asked him about Mitch and Sadie.
"Uncle Greg?" Meagan asked.
"Yes deary."
"I was wondering about some people we met before we got here. Their names were Mitch and Sadie, and they were really kind to us. We really miss them, and we were wondering if you could take us to see them in your car?"
"Well I don't see why not? What're we waiting for? Let's go!
Meagan quickly ran to get Ian, and they jumped into Uncle Greg's car. While driving there Meagan and Ian were facinated by all the funky machinery.
When they got there, Meagan and Ian could barely contain themselves. They ran to the door, and knocked as loudly as they could.
"Who is it?" called Sadies voice from the other side of the door.
"Mitch! Sadie! It's us Meagan and Ian Dougal!" Meagan shouted.
The door immediately opened, and once again, they were all embraced with kisses and hugs. Then Ian and Meagan introduced their Uncle Greg, and they had a great turckey meal together.
They all agreed that they would meet on the weekends to get together, so that they could keep in touch. Then they drove home.
My virsion of chapter 10 of The Crystal Drop: By Safiya
Uncle Greg can't stop hugging us. Wow. After everything we have been through we are finally here. Safe in Uncle Greg's loving arm's. Uncle Greg is very welcoming and knows exactly who we are. We are brought in and loved as if we have been here our whole lives. I am thrilled. Mom would have been proud. I got Ian here safely and kept my promise. Also Uncle Greg is thrilled to have us here. The falls are bursting with water. Ian and I go to school, with him in sixth and me in eighth. Everybody loves us here and has been waiting for us. They have cars and Ian and I get rides in them all of the time. We love it here. Just recently I passed on the letter Sadie had asked me to get her son. Hopefully, it gets there soon. I feel at home here and I am glad we came. Now we don't have to walk anymore, and there's endless amount's of food. Finally we are home.
Uncle Greg stopped hugging us and told us to go and wash up.Ian ran strait to the bathroom and came out in about 15 minutes.I came out of the shower greetd by a delicous scent of cooked chiken.
"Come and have dinner~"uncle Greg yelled across the house. I met everyone in the kitchen waiting for me.
"Gideon here has made some delicous food for us"uncle greg said in a calm and relaxed voice.
"You must be very hungry.Dig in!" We stuffed ourselves with the food Gideon made for us when I remembered the letter Sadie asked us to deliver.
"Uncle Greg would you mind driving us to mail something?"I asked with a lot of hope in my voice.
"Of course! Why not."uncle Greg replied.I was about to ask if we can go to see Sadie and Mitch but Ian asked him first.
"We met some people on our way here, do you mind if you could take us back? To say hello.They helped us a lot.Their names are Mitch and Sadie."
"Sure can! How 'bout we go to send the letter and go to Mitch and Sadie's."uncle Greg suggested.We all agreed and decided to hurry.
After sending the letter they went to Mitch and Sadie's house. When they found the house Ian ran to knock on the door.Sadie opened the door and saw us, you could tell she was surprised.She invited all of us in and cooked dinner with Gideon. After a nice meal of turkey and eggs they each said their goodbyes.
They promised Mitch and Sadie that they'll com visit once in a while and set off back to Lundbreck falls.
"It's getting late, you should get ready to sleep."uncle Greg suggested as we went to our rooms. Ian was so tired he fell asleep as soon as he slid into his bed. I stayed up for a little while thinking. Mom would have been really proud and uncle Greg is really genourous too. I never felt like this for a very long time... I felt I was at home.
